Cannon Beach Fun

The Oregon Coast has always been one of my favorite places and I'm always thankful that we live so close. I'm also grateful that our friends, The Sackmans, come every summer and rent a house at Cannon Beach. They live 6+ hours away and with five kids between us, we don't get to see them as much as we'd like. I think this was the fifth year that we joined them at the beach and we had a wonderful time. The weather was great, the kids had fun playing together and it was fantastic to catch up with Nick, Jordan and Jordan's awesome family. We're already looking forward to next year!

Carter loved playing at the beach. He's been a few times, but this was the first trip where he was able to run all around and really enjoy the freedom.

What would a trip to the beach be without a visit to the candy store. Carter had a great time choosing taffy and other candies from the case.
